Big Gold Tree

I loves the big gold tree - it is comprised of 2 trees - The first, the base, was my first attempt at tree-making. It has 3 dark metallic beads on most of the branches. I loved forming the branches & roots, it was my first cuts, my first real sense of creating a growing thing.

The second tree growing up into the branches was my third tree, it has only 1 dark metallic bead per branch. The trunk was entirely too long but also too thick for that spark which would lead one of my wayward trees into becoming a necklace.

I kept twisting until it dawned on me that it could grow around that already tallish gold tree. After carefully twisting out & trimming up the roots I came to love the blend as it winds up & around.

My Darlings

Welcome to my lil world. I've been making trees for a few months now. I started at our friendly neighborhood hackerspace: The Makers Alliance. I was inspired by a wire tree that my mother had been given by one of her patients. A pretty piece mounted on a hunk of stone, it had a single beaten metal leaf on it, no beading, & it had a lil poem, pure cheese, of course I am more than happy to craft some cheeselicious for my pieces. I am in the midst of sorting out my Etsy store (that links to MY Etsy site - as of this writing it is not up & running quite yet) & throwing up ads on my favorite sites. To follow are pics & lil posts about each of my lil creations. I will be posting here as I go & crossposting to the FaceBookFanPage. Then of course once I'm ready I will be posting them onto Etsy (this links to the Etsy mainpage cuz I loves Etsy so very very much - in all likelihood if you have seen me in brilliant jewelry that I did not make I found it on Etsy) to sell - If you want something specific leave me a note here & I will respond in private. I've been doing commissioned pieces & love finding exactly what pops into the brains of people when they see something I have already done.
